Acupuncture is a second career for me. I have been a tai chi and qi gong practitioner since 2003, and began studying acupuncture in 2005, after acupuncture treatment relieved the chronic low back pain I had been experiencing for months. I began my formal studies at the College for Traditional Acupuncture in Warwick, England, and continued them at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, Florida, where I completed my clinical internship and earned my masters degree in 2008. Since then I have continued my studies with Thea Elijah, Five Element acupuncturist and herbalist, and Dr. Richard Tan.
I received my national certification from the NCCAOM, and my license to practice in Massachusetts, in 2010.
